Maine WHOOPtoberfest!

We can't meet in person to share our love for Maine's Official State Treat, but we can celebrate online in October during WHOOPtoberest! We've been working hard on the online WHOOPtoberfest portal. When it goes live, people across the state will be able to find a whoopie pie, vote for their favorites, and have fun.
We're planning four week-long contests to encourage interaction with the portal and are planning other festivities with our sponsors. But none of this will work without your listing on the map!

A true Maine 'whoopie' consists of two dark-chocolate rounds, around the size of a hamburger, with a rich, dense filling sandwiched in-between. Some bakers have adapted this traditional treat to include pumpkin or gingerbread rounds, typically offered during the festive fall season.
